In the first individual competition DSV eagle Karl Geiger showed himself in top shape. The athlete from Oberstdorf won the first jumping competition in Nizhny Tagil with a lead of 8.7 points ahead of Ryoyu Kobayashi (243.8 p.) from Japan, who was disqualified on Sunday, and Halvor Egner Granerud (239.7 p.) from Norway.
Sunday - Individual jumping
The second individual World Cup ended in snow flurries. Last season's overall World Cup winner Halvor Egner Granerud won with 134.5 and 122.0 meters ahead of Karl Geiger (126.0 and 122.5 meters) and Austria's Stefan Kraft (121.5 and 127.0 meters).
