The Four Hills Tournament of ski jumpers mourns the death of Austrian sports reporter legend Peter Elstner. The former ORF reporter died in a swimming accident in Vienna last weekend. "This news makes us very sad. After all, Peter Elstner was ORF's chief reporter at the Tour for a good three decades during his active time and one of the most competent reporters ever. Our thoughts are with his family and our mutual friends at ORF," says Dr. Peter Kruijer, President of the Four Hills Tournament from Oberstdorf.
Even after his retirement in 2001, Peter Elstner had firmly belonged to the tour family.
