In the first individual competition of the weekend, Johann Andre Forfang claimed victory. With jumps of 130.5 and 121 meters (259.5 points), the Norwegian prevailed over Austria’s Jan Hörl, who reached 125.5 and 122.5 meters (256.6 points). Daniel Tschofenig completed the podium with jumps of 122.5 and 125 meters (255 points).
Forfang dominated from the first round, securing a 5.8-point lead, which he defended confidently in the final. The German jumpers once again struggled to compete for the top positions.
After strong individual performances from the women, the German mixed team achieved a remarkable success in Lake Placid. Agnes Reisch, Philipp Raimund, Selina Freitag, and Andreas Wellinger triumphed with 963.6 points in the third mixed-team competition of the season, leaving the competition behind. The Norwegian team, consisting of Thea Minyan Bjoerseth, Kristoffer Eriksen Sundal, Eirin Maria Kvandal, and Johann Andre Forfang, secured second place with 950.8 points, while the Austrian quartet of Lisa Eder, Jan Hörl, Jacqueline Seifriedsberger, and Daniel Tschofenig took third place with 941.8 points.
The decision was made in the final jumps: while the German team held the lead for a long time, they temporarily dropped to third place. A strategic mistake by the Norwegian team – Eirin Maria Kvandal failed to reach the required 95 percent of the Hill Size after a shortened inrun – brought Germany back on track for victory. Selina Freitag seized the opportunity, and Andreas Wellinger sealed the win.
Slovenia also delivered a noteworthy performance: Ema Klinec, Domen and Nika Prevc, and Anze Lanisek consistently held fourth place. Lanisek particularly stood out, delivering the longest jumps of the competition at 127.5 and 129 meters. Additionally, Domen and Nika Prevc made history as the first brother-sister duo to compete together in a mixed-team event.

The weekend concluded with an impressive win by Daniel Tschofenig. With jumps of 127 and 132.5 meters (275.1 points), he secured victory ahead of Jan Hörl (128 and 131 meters; 269.1 points) and Anze Lanisek (122.5 and 126.5 meters; 262.3 points).
Hörl had led after the first round but was ultimately overtaken in the final. Facing increasingly difficult conditions, he landed shorter than his teammate, allowing Tschofenig to claim his eighth World Cup victory and extend his lead in the overall World Cup standings.
