German Andreas Wank wont continue in the skijumping World Cup and becomes part of the German staff.
The Olympic Gold medal winner of Sotchi 2014 announced the end of his active career on his Instagram page. Wank will become a part of the DSV staff and add his value to the coaches team after he already finished the coaches training.
Wank will be officially seen off in Hinterzarten, where the Summer Grand Prix starts in two weeks.

After the Four Hills Tournament the normal Ski Jumping World Cup continued on this weekend. Two competitions from the normal hill were held in Val di Fiemme, Italy. On both days it was the German Karl Geiger, who was happy about the victory in the end and thus also took the yellow jersey as overall World Cup leader.
The final jumping of the 68. Four Hills Tournament in Bischofshofen not only attracted 15,000 fans to the Paul Ausserleitner hill, but also more than 7 million people in front of the TV screens. The second round thus ended up at number 1 on the hit list of TV ratings.
