Markus Eisenbichler becomes German Champion, Dawid Kubacki wins in Poland and Philipp Aschenwald triumphs in Austria.
At the German Championships in Oberstdorf Markus Eisenbichler wins ahead of Martin Hamann and local hero Karl Geiger, thus securing his first national individual title. With his jumps over 140.5 m and 139.0 m the 29-year-old from Siegsdorf won the championship title in the men's single 2020/2021 in the Audi Arena!
Already in September the Austrian Championships took place on the Paul-Außenleitner-Schanze in Bischofshofen, where Philipp Aschenwald won the title ahead of Michael Hayböck and Thomas Lackner.
The Poles crowned their champion 2020/2021 in Szczyrk in mid-October. Last year's four hills tournament winner, Dawid Kubacki, underlined his good form with two top jumps and took the victory. Andrzej Stekala secured the Polish vice title ahead of third placed Klemens Murankago back
The World Cup kick-off of the 2020/2021 season is just around the corner. With the team competition on Saturday and the individual competition on Sunday the ski jumpers will collect their first World Cup points this winter.
