A very unusual ski jumping day with a well-known winner is behind us. Training, qualification and competition and all that in only one day - the post race victory was again won by Ryoyu Kobayashi from Japan.
Ryoyu Kobayashi is on the verge of overall victory as the Japanese also secured today's catch-up jump from Innsbruck in glorious winter weather.
It didn't stop snowing while the athletes faced an unusual situation. Qualification and competition in only one day. The first run was won by Norwegian Marius Lindvik ahead of Kobayashi and Halvor Egner Granerud. In the final round the Japanese was not to be caught by the two Norwegians. 137.5 meters were enough to give him the third of four possible victories. Lindvik and Granerud finished second and third.
Kobayashi leads the overall table (593 points) ahead of Marius Lindvik (580 points) and Lovro Kos (576 points)
