Halvor Egner Granerud celebrates his third victory in a row in Russia's Chaikovsky. In the mixed team competition also the Norwegians took the lead.
Halvor Egner Granerud showed once again how good he is in shape at the fourth stop of the FIS Summer Grand Prix in Chaikovsky. The Norwegian defeated the second-placed and until then leading Russian Evgeniy Klimov (140 and 129.5 meters; 1250.2 p.) and his teammate Johann Andre Forfang (133.5 and 145 meters; 240.6 p.) with 133 and 137.5 meters (253.9 p.).
Also in the mixed team competition the Norwegian team consisting of Anna Odine Stroem, Johann Andre Forfang, Silje Opseth and Halvor Egner Granerud beat the competition. With a lead of 56.3 points, the four presented themselves confidently and very strong. Second place was secured by the quartet from Slovenia, Ursa Bogataj, Lovro Kos, Ema Klinec and Cene Prevc (899.9 p.). On the third place jumped the team from Russia, consisting of Irina Avvakumova, Mikhail Nazarov, Sofia Tikhonova and Evgeniy Klimov (869.9 p.).
