Granerud dominates Summer Grand Prix in Kazakhstan

Overall World Cup winner Halvor Egner Granerud won both Normal Hill competitions of the Ski Jumping Summer Grand Prix in Shukhinsk, Kazakhstan.

Early Sunday morning Halvor Egner Granerud won the first of two jumps in Shukhinsk with 96-meter and 94-meter jumps. The Norwegian scored a total of 258.6 points and defeated his compatriot Marius Lindvik who jumped 97 meters and 89 meters (249.2 points) to finish second. Third place went to Bulgaria's Vladimir Zografski with 94 meters and 89.5 meters (245.9 points).

And also the second normal hill event, which was held a few hours later, was secured by the overall World Cup winner, Halvor Egner Granerud. 93.5 meters and 87.5 meters (221.4 points) were enough for Granerud to leave his teammates Robert Johansson (91 and 92 m; 212.4 points) and Marius Lindvik (95 and 87 m; 211.8 points) behind. Third place was shared by Lindvik and Russia's Danil Sadreev (99.5 and 87 meters; 211.8 points).
