Last year's winner Marius Lindvik is out for the New Year's ski jumping in Garmisch-Partenkirchen.

As the Norwegians announced on the qualifying day, Marius Lindvik is out for the New Year's ski jumping because of toothache. The 22-year-old is already on his way to Innsbruck to see a dentist. Lindvik still competed in Oberstdorf and finished in third place.
